Store Manager – Gina Tricot (Amsterdam, opening 2026)
NRG is recruiting on behalf of Gina Tricot, a well-established and expanding international fashion brand, as they prepare to open their very first store in the Netherlands in March 2026, located in the heart of Amsterdam.
We are now looking for an experienced, passionate, and inspiring Store Manager who will play a key role in building this new store from the ground up. About the role
As Store Manager, you will take full ownership of the store’s daily operations, team leadership, and overall performance. The role is highly operational and requires strong presence on the shop floor, working side-by-side with your team to ensure exceptional customer experiences.
Your main responsibilities include:
- Recruiting, training, and developing a high-performing sales team up to 30 Sales Associates in total, scheduled across different shifts. Each day, you will work alongside a group of 6–8 colleagues in the store.
- Leading and participating in daily store operations
- Ensuring excellent customer service and a welcoming, inspiring store environment
- Overseeing scheduling, administration, sales follow-up, and KPI performance
- Executing campaigns, visual updates, and maintaining strong brand identity
- Identifying business opportunities and driving the store’s strategic growth in the Dutch market
- Building the store culture from day one and representing Gina Tricot’s values
- Participating in onboarding and training at the company’s head office in Sweden

Who you are
We are looking for a positive, social, and driven leader who naturally takes initiative and leads through action. You enjoy a fast-paced environment and contribute to a strong team culture through your presence on the shop floor.
You are:
- a confident communicator with strong leadership and coaching abilities
- proactive, solution-oriented, and unafraid to think outside the box
- humble, attentive, and skilled at building trust and engagement
- flexible regarding working hours, including evenings, weekends, and peak retail periods (e.g. Christmas)
- motivated by sales, performance, and achieving ambitious targets
- passionate about fashion, trends, and visual retail expression
You bring:
- fluency in Dutch and English
- several years of experience as store management — preferably within fashion or fast fashion
- proven experience coaching and developing teams toward strong performance
- strong interest in KPIs, sales analytics, and operational retail excellence
- experience in recruiting and building new teams
